Jayson Tatum seems to be bothered by a wrist issue during the Celtics‘ 103-101 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. He went down after Giannis Antetokounmpo fouled him in the second quarter of Game 3 on Saturday.

He was grabbing at his left wrist after the foul, which came on an impressive and-1 play. Tatum shrugged off the importance of the injury in the post-game presser, claiming he has been dealing with it for “two months now”.

“That’s something I’ve been dealing with for probably like two months now,” Tatum told reporters. “It wasn’t anything abnormal. When I fall on it, it bothers me.”

It was a forgettable night for Tatum. The Celtics’ superstar finished with just 10 points on 4-of-19 shooting as Boston dropped a winnable game in Milwaukee to fall behind 2-1 in their Eastern Conference Semifinal series.

The Celtics will look to bounce back after losing Game 3 on Saturday. It was a close-knit game, in which the Celtics went down 14 points to get back and make a last-second thriller.

In any case, Boston will need Tatum to be at his best in the next game hoping to tie the series and regain the home-court advantage. Tatum did not miss a regular-season game because of injury, playing in 76 of the Celtics’ 82 games.

While the Boston superstar forward downplayed the seriousness of the injury, he was previously wearing a wrap on his left wrist after the Celtics’ Game 2 win. It’s probably something the Eastern Conference powerhouse will have to monitor the rest of the series.
