Jaylen Brown should be ready to compete in the Boston Celtics‘ semifinal series vs the Milwaukee Bucks, according to head coach Ime Udoka. Brown has been dealing with hamstring tightness since Game 4 of the first-round series vs Brooklyn.

“We’ll get (him) re-evaluated after practice here by the medical staff,” told reporters, the Celtics coach. “But, all signs (are) pointing in the right direction; (he) looked good the last few days.”

The Celtics hope to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals by defeating a hobbled defending champion, as the Bucks will play without All-Star Khris Middleton. Boston will need to be at 100 percent to avoid any surprises from the defending champions.

“It was great being able to have a couple of days especially trying to get healthy and make sure everything was taken care of. It was essential to have a couple of days off, so credit to us taking care of business so we can have that,” Brown said via Celtics Wire.

For now, it appears that Brown’s health progression is heading in the right direction. The series vs the Bucks start Sunday with Game 1 taking place in Boston.
