Jaylen Brown was pretty clear on the mentality the Boston Celtics will have in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.
Being down 3-2 in the series, the Celtics know a loss on Thursday will cost them the title. Instead, a victory at TD Garden will let them force a Game 7 on Monday.
“It’s win or go home. We got to come with that mentality. It’s survival of the fittest. We got to come out and play Celtic basketball,” Jaylen Brown told media, including Hedgeout.net, after Game 5 loss.
This will be the third elimination game for the Celtics this postseason. The other two were vs the Milwaukee Bucks (Game 6, ECF semi-finals) and Miami Heat (Game 7, ECF Finals). They survived both and will now seek to do it for a third time and even the series (3-3).
