Jarrett Allen questionable for must-win Cavs vs Hawks play-in game

Jarrett Allen is listed as questionable for the must-win play-in game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

The 23-year-old All-Star has been sidelined since March 6 with a fractured finger in his left hand. However, it seems he is now close to his return, as the Cavs have one last chance to reach the playoffs.

After the loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland will host Atlanta for the final playoff spot in the East. The loser of this game will be eliminated, while the winner will clinch the No. 8 seed and take on the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs.

Prior to his injury, Jarrett Allen had a breakout season and was one of the key players for the Cavs. In 56 games, he averaged 16.1 points, 10.8 boards and 1.3 blocks.

According to Cavs’ beat writer Evan Dammarell, Jarrett Allen is a game-time decision for Friday’s must-win game.
