Isaiah Thomas will remain with the Charlotte Hornets after signing a second 10-day contract with the team.
The Hornets officially announced the agreement on Saturday, but didn’t reveal terms of the deal. Isaiah Thomas initially joined Charlotte on March 2. He has appeared in three games, averaging 9.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

The veteran guard has also spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks this season. Thomas was under 10-day contracts with both franchises.
The two-time All-Star has played for several NBA teams in his career. His time with the Boston Celtics (2014-2017) has been the best of his career so far.
Isaiah Thomas missed significant time because of injuries and is now attempting a return to the league. Still, though, no team has offered him a guaranteed deal.
If the Hornets elect to keep Isaiah Thomas after his second 10-day contract is over (March 22), they should re-sign him for the remainder of the season. Charlotte is ninth in the East, at 33-35.
