Iffe Lundberg has recently parted ways with CSKA Moscow in the light of the Russian invasion in Ukraine.
The 27-year-old joined a long list of players leaving the Russian capital after the invasion in Ukraine and the ongoing situation in Eastern Europe.
The Danish guard has officially signed with the Phoenix Suns, the team announced on Saturday. Lundberg will become the first Danish player to play in the NBA.

Lundberg played for Zielona Gora last season, before joining CSKA Moscow in the middle of the 2020-21 season.
He ended up being one of the elite guards in the EuroLeague. He also played for Tenerife and Baxi Manresa during his pro career.
Likewise, he has averages of 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.9 steals per contest over 24 appearances in the 2021-22 EuroLeague regular season.
The Suns are in need for more depth in the point guard position with Chris Paul out with a thumb injury.
Paul was seen shooting with his injured hand, but the Suns are still expecting him to return at the end of the regular season or the first round of the playoffs.
This season, Phoenix is the leading team in the NBA with 53 wins and 14 losses, with 15 games remaining for the end of the regular season.
