Bam Adebayo has been one of the best players of the Miami Heat this season, playing excellent on both ends.
The star big man of the Heat spoke with reporters on Thursday and said he should be in the conversation for DPOY award.
Adebayo explained why he is one of the best defenders in the league this season and should win the award.
“At this point, I’m the only one making those eye-popping plays…it’s my pride,” the big man said, via Clay Ferraro of WPLG.

In 45 games with the Heat, Bam Adebayo is averaging 19 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals.
Miami is on top of the East, with a 46-24 record. They are two games above the Milwaukee Bucks (44-26) for the first place in the conference, with 12 games left.
Bam Adebayo will certainly have some competition in his effort to claim the award. Rudy Gobert, who has won the award three times over the last four seasons, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are also in the conversation for DPOY.
