The Miami Heat are among the teams interested in landing superstar forward Kevin Durant via a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.
In order for this to happen, the Heat should create a package that will include All-Star players and first-round picks.
Durant has expressed his willingness to play alongside Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry. According to an Eastern Conference executive, though, the latter should be included in the package as well.
“If Lowry is in the deal, Miami could be in the best position to make a KD trade happen….you can do Lowry…. Robinson and Tyler Herro, and I am not sure the Nets are going to get a better deal than that,” the executive said, Sean Deveney reports.
Lowry still has two years and $58M left in his current contract with Miami, while the Heat and the Phoenix Suns have emerged as the favorites to land the superstar forward.
