The Miami Heat have no intention to give up on their effort to trade for Donovan Mitchell or Kevin Durant.
According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Heat seek to acquire first-round picks that will then be included in trade packages.
“I have been told from multiple people that Miami is trying to go find multiple picks to either send to Utah for Donovan Mitchell or to send to Brooklyn for Kevin Durant,” Fischer said.

So far, Miami has been unsuccessful in its effort to land either Durant or Mitchell. The franchise doesn’t have the number of picks the Utah Jazz and the Brooklyn Nets ask for and that makes things difficult for the Eastern Conference powerhouse.
However, the team is motivated to do its best and pursue a trade for Kevin Durant or Donovan Mitchell.
