Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr. confident ahead of series with Warriors

Jaren Jackson Jr. shared his thoughts on the upcoming series between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors.

The big man of the Grizzlies said the team is confident entering the series, which tips off on Sunday in Memphis.

“Confident. Confidence didn’t change, though. It’s the same. We’re happy with the result, but I mean, we’ve always had the big picture, like even since we playin’ with each other like, it’s been a couple years, man, us playing with each other.

We’ve always had the big picture; we’ve always had goals of getting further than this. We never settle. We never. Like, think forward.

Just keep thinking forward; that’s like the whole point of this. That’s why it works,” Jackson Jr. told media after the win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 6 (114-106).

Thanks to their victory, Memphis closed out the series (4-2) and advanced to the Western Conference semi-finals for the first time in 7 years.
