Giannis Antetokounmpo made the game-winning block and the Milwaukee Bucks survived a late thriller over the Philadelphia 76ers (118-116).
Antetokounmpo blocked Joel Embiid’s two-point attempt in the final play and handed his team the win. Prior to that, the Bucks had come back from a double-digit deficit at halftime (51-61).
Milwaukee outscored Philadelphia 37-27 in the fourth quarter and took the upper hand. In the end, though, it was the Greek Freak’s block that gave them the victory.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 40 points, on 16/24 shooting. The two-time NBA MVP also had 14 rebounds, six assists and three blocks. Four more players scored in double figures for the winners.
On the other hand, James Harden had 32 points and nine assists for the Sixers. For his part, Embiid added 29 points and 14 boards, while Tobias Harris posted 22.
Thanks to their victory, the Bucks improved to 47-28 and came within half a game of East leaders Miami Heat (48-28). They also won the season series vs Philadelphia (2-1).
On the contrary, the Sixers dropped to 46-29 and fell to fourth. Philadelphia is just 1.5 games below the Heat.
Up next, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the defending champions will take on the Brooklyn Nets (31/03). For their part, the Sixers will play the Pistons in Detroit on Thursday.
