FC Barcelona successfuly defended its Copa Del Rey title, following the 59-63 victory over Real Madrid.
The “Whites” made an excellent start and closed the first quarter in front by 14 (19-5). Real retained its lead until halftime (29-18), but the Catalans fought back afterwards.
Playing excellent on both ends, they outscored their opponents 30-45 and clinched the victory. Real had the chance to force overtime, but Gabriel Deck missed a crucial two-pointer in crunch time.

MVP: Nikola Mirotic was the top scorer of FC Barcelona, posting a game-high 19 points. He also made four clutch free throws to break a 59-59 tie in the final seconds.
Key to victory: The performance of FC Barcelona in the second half. The “Blaugrana” played at high standards on both ends and turned things around.
This was the fourth Copa Del Rey title for FC Barcelona in the last five years (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022).
Both teams now set their sights on the upcoming EuroLeague games. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona share the top of the standings, with a 20-5 record. They are both close to securing their spot in the postseason as well as the home-court advantage.
