Reporting from Philadelphia
Erik Spoelstra wants the Miami Heat to be more physical in Games 4 and 5 vs the Philadelphia 76ers.
The veteran head coach didn’t like what he saw from his players in Game 3 loss and especially the way they approached the game.
“Probably, they have great size obviously with Embiid, I think they beat us to a lot of hustle plays and 50-50 plays in the first half.
Tuck [P.J. Tucker] actually kept that conversation open, a lot of his plays but other than Tuck I think we were getting beat first to the ball too often tonight,” Erik Spoelstra told media afterwards.
Despite the defeat, the Heat still lead the series 2-1. Game 4 will take place at Wells Fargo Center on Sunday, as Miami will seek to bounce back. The series will then return to Miami for Game 5 on Tuesday (May 10).
