Eric Paschall joins Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year deal

Former Utah Jazz forward Eric Paschall is joining the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Paschall was reportedly a candidate to come in Europe’s top league, the EuroLeague, but the forward denied the reports.

Throughout his career, the dynamic forward averages 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. He was selected with the 41st overall pick in the NBA draft by the Warriors after helping Villanova to an NCAA championship in 2018.

The Villanova product was an unrestricted free agent as the Jazz entered a rebuilding state after trading the Rudy Gobert to Minnesota for future assets and young players. In Minnesota, the former Jazz role player will join teammate Gobert.

Eric Paschall, he could be one of the more underrated signings of the offseason. His scoring ability will benefit the Timberwolves if they give him enough playing time in a crowded front line with the likes of KAT, Gobert and Naz Reiz.

Minnesota is in win now mode after making the postseason this past year. They also added veteran Austin Rivers the previous days and signed several veterans like Kyle Anderson, who had a great season with Memphis last season.
