Eric Paschall denies he intends to leave NBA for Europe

Eric Paschall called the reports of him moving to Europe false news after speculation grew Friday about interest from Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos has already shown a strong desire to retool its roster ahead of the 2022-23 season.

It has to be noted that the reports about Paschall and Panathinaikos only indicated that the player was targeted by the Greek club. The 2018 NCAA champion will likely remain in the NBA after three seasons with the Jazz and the Warriors.

Throughout his career, the dynamic forward averages 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. He was selected with the 41st overall pick in the NBA draft by the Warriors after helping Villanova to an NCAA championship in 2018.

Paschall is an unrestricted free agent. The Jazz had an option to extend a qualifying offer to the explosive forward this offseason, but Utah elected to go on a full-fledged rebuild trading away Rudy Gobert. They also expected to sent away fellow All-Star Donovan Mitchell.

As of now, the Jazz reportedly signed Simone Fontecchio from Baskonia amidst ongoing trade talks between them and the Knicks for a potential Donovan Mitchell deal.
