Doc Rivers opened up about how the Philadelphia 76ers should help James Harden become more aggressive moving forward.

The veteran coach noted the Sixers should get Harden involved on offense, something that hasn’t happened in the series vs the Toronto Raptors.

“We have to get James going downhill in some more actions that he likes and more comfortable. You know, I just keep saying with Tyrese, we just have to get the ball in his hands more. We just do. I said it all game.

He’s just not getting the ball in transition enough. And that’s on us. We have to do it,” Doc Rivers said, via Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

James Harden had 15 points, on 4/11 shooting, 7 assists and 5 turnovers in Game 5 loss to the Toronto Raptors (103-88).

The Raptors forced a Game 6 on Thursday and now have the momentum on their side (3-2). If they win, they will even the series and force a Game 7.
