Doc Rivers shared his disappointment after the elimination of the Philadelphia 76ers from the NBA playoffs.
The Sixers lost to the Miami Heat in six games (4-2) and failed to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. And according to Philadelphia head coach, they weren’t the better team in the series.
“I came to the conclusion at the end of this game that we were just not good enough to beat Miami,” Doc Rivers told reporters, via Kyle Neubeck of Philly Voice.
Despite the disappointing end to the season, Rivers will remain with the Sixers next year. The Sixers are expected to make changes to their lineup, while Danny Green will miss several months with a torn ACL in his left knee.
