Devin Booker, Suns sweep season series vs Bulls

Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns dominated the Chicago Bulls at home (102-129) and swept the season series (2-0).

Devin Booker led the winners with 28 points (20 in the first half), on 10/18 shooting. Six more players scored in double figures for Phoenix, with DeAndre Ayton posting 20 points and 12 rebounds.

On the other hand, DeMar DeRozan had 19 points for the losing squad, with Nikola Vucevic adding 16. Zach LaVine scored just 12 points (10/12 free throws) for Chicago, on 1/7 shooting.

Phoenix took over after the first quarter and never looked back. The Suns outscored the Bulls 45-65 between the second and third quarter and cruised to the victory.

The hosts have now won four straight and eight of their last 10. They are on top of the NBA (57-14) and have clinched their spot in the playoffs. Phoenix is close to securing the top spot in the West.

For their part, the Bulls have been in free fall lately. They are on a three-game skid at the moment and have lost eight of their last 10.

As a result, Chicago has dropped to fifth in the East (41-29) and is just two wins above 7th-placed Toronto Raptors (39-31).

The Bulls and the Raptors will collide in a crucial game for both teams on Monday. On the other hand, the Suns will travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings on Sunday.
