Dennis Schroder will not return to the Houston Rockets and will sign with another team this offseason. This is what Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports, adding that Rockets’ executives like Schroder and what he can offer to the squad on both ends.
However, the German point guard prefers to join a contender and can certainly do so since he is an unrestricted free agent.

Dennis Schroder averaged 10.9 points and 5.9 assists in 15 games with the Rockets, but couldn’t help Houston reach the postseason. And with the franchise in a rebuild mode, it is certain the two sides will move in different directions.
The 28-year-old will seek to find a good deal once free agency opens in late June and will then focus on getting ready for the 2022 FIBA EuroBasket (September 1-18).
