DeMar DeRozan wants Bulls to ‘get out of the tough spot and figure it out’

DeMar DeRozan wants to see the Chicago Bulls end their current slide and return to the winning track as soon as possible.

The superstar of Chicago spoke with media, including Hedgeout.net, after the blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns (102-129). The All-Star forward said the team is on a tough spot as of late and needs to solve its issues.

“We need to get out of the tough spot and figure it out. Once we do so, our resiliency will be beneficial,” DeMar DeRozan noted.

The Bulls have lost three straight games and eight of their last 10. They have dropped to fifth in the East, at 41-29, just two games above seventh-placed Toronto Raptors (39-31).

During this skid, the Bulls have played poor defense, conceding more than 110 points in each of their last 13 defeats. They have also allowed an average of 127 points over the past two games.

DeMar DeRozan also stated the Bulls need to return to the high standards they have been playing all season. Once that happens, they will be fine, he added.

The star guard/forward also wants to see his teammates take advantage of the double-teams and traps on him to create opens shots and score easy points.

DeMar DeRozan made it clear he loves challenge and will not shy away from it and is ready to step up and bring the Bulls back on track.

Chicago will now play two must-win back-to-back games vs the Raptors (Monday) and the Milwaukee Bucks (Tuesday).
