All-Star guard Dejounte Murray has officially joined the Atlanta Hawks, via a trade from the San Antonio Spurs. As part of the trade, the Spurs will receive three first-round picks and a pick swap.
By trading for Murray, Atlanta has just made a major upgrade in its backcourt, which will feature two All-Star guards in Murray and Trae Young.

As Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports, the Hawks are sending a 2023 first-round pick via Charlotte as well as their own 2025 and 2027 first-round picks to the Spurs as part of the deal. San Antonio will also receive a pick swap in 2026.
Dejounte Murray averaged almost a triple-double last season with 21.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 9.2 assists in 68 games for the Spurs.
