DeAndre Jordan has officially signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, the club announced on Thursday.
Jordan cleared waivers earlier tonight and penned a deal with the Sixers. The veteran big man parted ways with the Los Angeles Lakers a couple of days ago.
Philadelphia didn’t reveal terms of the deal. However, Jordan will remain with the team for at least the remainder of the season.

In order to create an open spot and sign Jordan, the Sixers waived Willie Cauley-Stein. The latter was under a 10-day contract.
The former All-Star spent the first part of the season with the Lakers. He appeared in 32 games and averaged 4.1 points and 5.4 rebounds in 12.8 minutes.
Philadelphia will be the sixth NBA team for DeAndre Jordan. So far, he has played for the Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Clippers. He has career averages of 9.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.5 blocks in 27.0 minutes.
DeAndre Jordan will be the backup center of Philadelphia and will wear No.9, per the team’s official statement.
