Los Angeles Lakers’ new head coach Darvin Ham has no intention to move Russell Westbrook to the bench next season. This is what Ham told Marc J. Spears of Substack, while also revealing how he plans to use the superstar guard.
“Yes, indeed. It’s just the way we’re going to play and the type of people that’s going to be out there on the floor, that’s the biggest thing. We ain’t going to try to curtail his energy. We’re just going to diversify it, redirect it,” Darvin Ham stated.
What Ham wants to see from Russell Westbrook is consistency on both ends. If that happens, then Westbrook will able to be a game changer for the Lakers.
The All-Star guard has been linked to a move to the Brooklyn Nets lately as part of the deal that would send Kyrie Irving to Los Angeles.
