Danny Green is expected to miss several months after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee in Game 6 vs the Miami Heat.
The veteran guard got injured early in the game and was helped off the court. After undergoing medical tests, he was diagnosed with a torn ACL and will now have surgery to repair the damage.

“Joel got to the rim. I saw him lay it up. I don’t know if it went in or not. But I just remember him taking a tumble.
I tried to move. I couldn’t get out fast enough. I tried to pull my leg out, but it got caught underneath me, and it rolled into it. I knew once it happened, I knew I wasn’t able to return to the game,” Danny Green told media, via NBA.com.
The 13-year NBA veteran appeared in 62 games for the Sixers this season, averaging 5.9 points and 2.5 rebounds. Green is entering the final year of a two-year, $20 million contract he signed with Philadelphia.
