At State Farm Arena, the Atlanta Hawks welcome the Miami Heat. Should they win, they will tie the series (currently at 1-2).
Two days ago, Trae Young (24 points, 8 assists) hit the game winner for Atlanta (111-110). Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 18 and De’Andre Hunter added 17 points.
This was the seventh consecutive home win for the Hawks. Since January, they have lost only three of their 24 games at home.
Jimmy Butler (20 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists) missed the game-winning shot for the Heat. Miami has to deal with injuries as well. Kyle Lowry (6 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds in Game 3) and Bam Adebayo (13 points, 11 rebounds) are listed as questionable for tonight’s game.
Should they be absent, Erik Spoelstra’s team has to find other solutions in order to avoid returning to Miami with the series tied.
The Hawks are hot at their home court. My first prediction is that their star player Trae Young will score more than 25 points tonight (odds at 1.62). He has not done so in this playoff series so far, however it is time to step up. In addition, my value bet is that Atlanta will win tonight (odds at 2.15).
Safe bet: Trae Young over 25.5 points (1.62)
Value bet: Atlanta win (2.15)
In New Orleans, at Smoothie King Center, it is Game 4 for the Pelicans and the Phoenix Suns. After Pelicans’ win in Phoenix in Game 2 (114-125), the Suns got payback two days ago by re-claiming the home-court advantage (111-114).
Despite Devin Booker’s absence, Chris Paul led Phoenix with 28 points and 13 assists, while DeAndre Ayton added 28 points and 17 rebounds.
The Pelicans did their best with leading scorer Brandon Ingram (34 points, 7 rebounds), however they could not avoid the defeat. Suns head coach Monty Williams said “it’s just been something we feel like has to be a point of focus every game.”
I believe that both teams are capable offensively. My prediction is that they will score more than 209 points in total (odds at 1.53).
Furthermore, if I were to pick a winner tonight, this would be the Suns. A combination bet for the Suns to win and total points more than 215 is my fun bet for this Game 4 (odds at 3.25)
Safe bet: Over 209.5 (1.53)
Fun bet: Suns win + over 215.5 (3.25)
