The Boston Celtics rallied past the Miami Heat in Game 5 (93-80) and came within 1 win of the NBA Finals (3-2).

Four players scored in double figures for the winners, with Jaylen Brown leading the way with 25 points. On the other hand, Bam Adebayo was the best player of the losing squad with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

After a hard-fought battle in the first half (37-42), Boston took over. A 24-2 run enabled the Celtics to take control and never look back.

The visitors outscored their opponents 32-16 in the third quarter and cruised to the win. For their part, the hosts were 7 for 45 from the 3-point range and suffered a painful home loss.

The Celtics now lead the series 3-2 and have a golden opportunity to reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010. Game 6 is on Friday at TD Garden and the Heat will aim to re-claim the home-court advantage and force a Game 7 in Miami.
