The Milwaukee Bucks dominated the Chicago Bulls (127-106) and officially claimed the title in the Central Division.
The reigning champions took over from the opening tip, led by as many as 24 points and cruised to the victory. As a result, they swept the season series vs the Bulls (4-0) and won their fourth straight Division title.
Milwaukee has already clinched its spot in the playoffs and is currently third in the East, tied with the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers (49-30).
On the other hand, Chicago dropped to 45-34 and is sixth in the standings. The East powerhouse is now 2-20 vs the top four teams in the East and West.
Following the loss of the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Orlando Magic (115-120), the Bulls secured their place in the postseason for the first time in five years.
If things don’t change in the remaining three games, the two franchises will face each other in the first round of the playoffs, with the Bucks having the home-court advantage.
