Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers vs Toronto Raptors are the first two matchups in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Following the end of the regular season, the Bucks and the Sixers finished third and fourth, respectively. The two powerhouses had identical records (51-31), but the reigning champions had the tiebreaker.
For their part, the Raptors (48-34) and the Bulls (46-36) finished fifth and sixth in the standings, respectively.
As a result, the Bucks will take on the Bulls and the Sixers will square off with the Raptors. Milwaukee and Philadelphia have the home-court advantage.
East leaders Miami Heat (53-29) and 2nd-placed Boston Celtics (51-31) will find out who their opponent will be later this week.
The Celtics will play the winner of the Brooklyn Nets vs Cleveland Cavaliers play-in game on Tuesday, April 12. For their part, the Heat will face whoever claims the eighth spot through the play-in tournament (April 12-15). The playoffs will tip off on April 16.
