Bucks crush Bulls to go up 3-0 in season series

The Milwaukee Bucks returned to the winning track following their 98-126 home win over the Chicago Bulls.

Jrue Holiday (27 points) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (25 points, 17 rebounds) led the way for the winners. On the contrary, DeMar DeRozan (21 points), Nikola Vucevic (22 points) and Zach LaVine (21 points) combined for 64 points for the losing squad.

The reigning champions took over from the opening tip and never looked back. Milwaukee led by as many as 35 points and cruised to the victory.

The Bucks improved to 45-27 and are just two games below East Conference leaders Miami Heat (47-25). The reigning champions have won 15 of their last 16 games vs the Bulls and now are 3-0 in the season series with Chicago.

On the other hand, the visitors dropped to 42-30, but remained fifth in the standings. Chicago has now lost four of its last five games and seven of its last eight road matches.

Tuesday’s contest tipped off a five-game road trip for the Bulls. The East contenders fell to 0-16 against the Top-3 teams in each conference.

Up next, the Bucks take on the Washington Wizards on Thursday. For their part, the Bulls will play the New Orleans Pelicans.
