Bradley Beal intends to sign a contract extension with the Washington Wizards and remain with the team long-term.
As Ava Wallace of The Washington Post reported, the All-Star guard is leaning towards signing a multi-year deal with Washington, worth a total of $250M. Beal is entering the final year of his contract, worth $36.4M.
Even though Bradley Beal has been linked to several teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, it seems he has no interest to leave Washington.
Instead, he plans to stay with the team and help the Wizards make the NBA playoffs next season. The 29-year-old missed the second part of the season, after undergoing wrist surgery in February.
In just 40 games with the Wizards, Beal averaged 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists, on 45.1% shooting.
