At TD Garden, the Boston Celtics face the Miami Heat in Game 4 (series currently at 1-2).
Two days ago, Erik Spoelstra’s team managed to reclaim the home-court advantage in Boston (103-109). Jimmy Butler got injured during the first half. Bam Adebayo then stepped up, ending the game with a double-double (31 points and 10 rebounds).
The Heat were dominant and never trailed in Game 3. They forced their opponents to commit 24 turnovers, after recording 19 steals.
For their part, the Celtics could not keep up where they left off in Game 2. Jayson Tatum (10 points) performed horribly for his team.
He also faced a neck injury and is listed as questionable for tonight’s game. Jaylen Brown scored 40 points for Boston (playoff career high).
In Game 4, it is pretty tough to pick a winner. Butler and Kyle Lowry intend to play, while Tyler Herro has been ruled out with a left groin strain.
On the other hand, Marcus Smart (16 points, 7 assists in Game 4) has joined Jayson Tatum in the injury list for the Celtics.
Physical condition is going to be a major problem, even if everyone participates tonight. Nevertheless, I think than Miami can upset Boston again.
My betting prediction is that the Heat, even if they lose tonight, will protect the +9.5 handicap (odds at 1.62).
Furthermore, I predict that Jayson Tatum will score more than 29 points tonight, should he eventually play (odds at 2.40).
My final betting prediction will be a fun bet that I suggest to pick only moments before the game starts. Should every Miami player compete tonight, I believe they stand a chance to win again in Boston (odds currently at 3.80).
Safe Bet: Miami Heat +9.5 (1.62)
Value Bet: Jayson Tatum over 29.5 points (2.40)
Fun Bet: Miami Heat win (3.80)
