Bayern Munich steals home-court advantage in Gm 1 of German BBL semis

Bayern Munich made a late run and stole the home-court advantage from Bonn in Game 1 of the German BBL semifinals with a 68-90 victory. Bayern went off on a 0-8 run that gave them their biggest lead thus far in the game (61-69).
Nick Weiler-Babb was the leading performer for the winning side with 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Vladimir Lucic added 19 points and 7 rebounds, while Ognjen Jaramaz had 18.
Parker Jackson-Cartwright, the league’s MVP anf first scorer, was held to 14 points shooting 4-of-19 from the field. Bayern Munich shot a massive 75 percent from two-point range and a 53.9 percent from the field.
ALBA Berlin remained unbeaten for 15th game in the row after downing MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg 89-84 in Game 1 of the semifinals. Maodo Lo finished with 20 points and Jaleen Smith had 18 points with Oscar Da Silva adding 13.
Smith was an important factor in the closing minutes after hitting two huge threes in the crunch time to put ALBA ahead 86-81. The Berliners were able to hold their own the rest of the way and take an 1-0 lead in the semifinal series.
