FC Bayern Munich bounced back from Friday’s EuroLeague defeat vs Olympiacos by blowing out Bamberg 83-62 at home.
In contrast with the previous game, Bayern amped up its performance in the second half and secured an easy victory.
Bayern made a 49-27 run in the third and fourth quarter to reach the 18-5 record-wise in the easyCredit BBL.
Deshaun Thomas was the most beaming player on the Munich side and could not be stopped by Bamberg. The American scored 20 points and sank seven of his eleven attempts from the field.
Four more player were on double-digits for the home side with Darrun Hilliard scoring 13 and Augustine Rubit putting 12 points.

Telecom Basket Bonn was able to slip past HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim in a high-scoring affair that end up 101-96 for the home team.
It was also a duel between two MVP candidates in Parker Jackson-Cartwright (Telekom Baskets Bonn) and TJ Shorts (HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim). Jackson-Cartwright had 13 points, seven assists and five rebounds, while Shorts had 29 assists and five assists.
Bonn improved to 16-7 and remained second in the standings, while Crailsheim dropped to 12-8, which is the eighth-best record in the league.
