Bayern Munich kept the top-3 race close as they cruise past Wuzburg 92-57 to remain 3rd in the German Bundesliga.
The Bavarians, who were coming off a huge EuroLeague win over Barcelona, were led by Andreas Obst. Obst had 18 points in 14 minutes, adding also five rebounds and three made shots from deep.
Bayern’s head coach Andrea Tricnhieri kept the minutes of his starters low as he saw George putting up 13 and Obiese adding up 12 points. Bayern used a 24-10 second quarter to take a 48-23 lead at the intermission.

The 2021 German Cup winners cruise past their opponents for the rest of the game securing its 23rd win in 31 games. Bayern will return to action mid-week for the final game of the EuroLeague playoffs in best-of-five series vs FC Barcelona.
Earlier today, ALBA Berlin was able to remain at no.2 seed in the standings after overcoming MLP Academics Heidelberg 110-70. ALBA outscored the Budensliga newcomers by 36-11 in the third quarter to lead 87-43.
It was the ninth win in a row for Berlin and there are still three games for the regular season to conclude. The Albatrosses have the best record with 23 wins and 6 defeats with Bonn being ahead in the standings thanks to points differential.
