Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius wins Coach of the Year award in the ACB

The head coach of Barcelona, Sarunas Jasikevicius, won the Coach of the Year award for the 2021/22 season in the ACB.

Under the Lithuanian coach, the Catalans finished on top of the standings in the regular season, with a 27-7 record. The “Blaugrana” also lead the semi-finals series vs Badalona (1-0), aiming to reach the Finals.

Jasikevicius led Barcelona to the 2022 EuroLeague Final Four, claiming the third place, and helped the team win the 2022 Copa Del Rey in February.
