LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne downed JL Bourg 68-62 to extend its domestic winning streak to seven games.
Chris Jones recorded a team-high 15 points as his team narrowly held on down the stretch to secure the win on the road. ASVEL jumped to 15-6, which is ranked as the best record in the Betclic Elite LNB Pro A.
ASVEL will hope to maintain its momentum after its win in Round 25 of the regular season. TJ Parker’s side will face ALBA Berlin Thursday for EuroLeague Round 27. Villeurbanne played without Elie Okobo (shoulder), Antoine Diot, David Lighty (hand), Raymar Morgan (back), and Dylan Osetkowski.
Boulogne Metropolitans 92 fell into a tie with ASVEL at 15-6 after its third consecutive loss in the French League. Boulogne fell to ESSM Le Portel in a postponed Round 14 matchup.
SIG Strasbourg downed Nanterre 92 80-67 in another Round 14 game. Kameron Taylor registered 18 points and 11 rebounds for the home side.
