AS Monaco nails 5th consecutive victory with win over Paris

AS Monaco Basket withstood a Paris’ comeback to win their fifth straight game in the French League. Dwyane Bacon and Will Thomas led the EuroLeague side to a 76-69 victory in the French Betclic Elite to improve to a 17-7 record.

Bacon and Thomas had 16 points each as the team remained’in the hunt for the best record in the regular season. Monaco is one game behind the top spot through 24 games.

Paris Basketball dropped to 8-15 despite Ryan Boatwright leading the team push for a comeback with 15 points. Paris has now lost four of their last five games.

ASVEL LCDL was able to outpace Fos-sur-Mer 84-80 and improve to 16-8 through 24 Pro A games. Chris Jones led his team with 16 points, while William Howard added 14. Fos-sur-Mer dropped to 6-17.
