“Would I love to be here? Absolutely. Can I control that right now? No. I can only control what’s happening right now. We know that. So don’t misuse my words. That’s not fair to me & that’s not right,” Drummond said via hoopshype.

Since joining the Nets, Drummond has assumed the starting center role averaging 12.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists shooting 63 percent from the field.

The veteran big has three double-doubles in the last five games offering an important presence for the Nets under the basket, especially in the rebounding aspect of the game.

The veteran center is on the minimum contract that ends this season. He will probable have more value and interest in the 2022 offseason market.
