Alex Caruso and Partick Williams are expected to begin contact drills on Friday, preparing both Bulls’ players for a return at the end of the month.
Both players were cleared for contact by team doctors Wednesday morning, coach Billy Donovan said ahead of a road game against the Detroit Pistons.

Caruso is recovering from a fractured right wrist, while Patrick Williams will have his first practice coming back from a tearing ligament in his wrist.
Donovan admitted Caruso remained active during his recovery, something that will help him make a quick return to action.
After missing nearly five months of the season, Williams will need a more extended buildup to regain fitness before being available.
Lonzo Ball has still ways to go before starting noncontact drills with his teammates. Donovan previously said all three players were still on track to follow their set timelines.
Ball, Williams and Caruso are set to be available to play by the end of March. The Bulls are on a five-game losing streak after the latest loss to the Sixers.
They are set to face the rebuilding Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, hoping to get back to their winning habits.
