Virtus Bologna came to an agreement with veteran guard Daniel Hackett, who left from Russia and CSKA a few days back.
The Italian guard was the sixth player to leave Russia and CSKA after the start of the war in Ukraine. He won the 2019 EuroLeague with the team.
CSKA decided to accommodate Hackett and the Italian club announced the agreement with him on Thursday.

Virtus have been looking for reinforcements on the market before the 8th March deadline for EuroCup additions.
The 34-year-old averaged 8.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 22 EuroLeague games this season.
The veteran guard returned to Italia after seven years. He last played for Olimpia Milano between 2013 and 2015. He also had a short stint with Siena (2012-13), while he also played for Greek giants Olympiacos and in the Basketball Bundesliga for Brose Bamberg.
Hackett has more than 250 EuroLeague games under his belt having career averages of 9.2 points, 3.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds per contest.
He won two VTB titles with CSKA being also the playoffs MVP last season. He also has one Greek championship with Olympiacos and multiple titles in Italian basketball competitions.
