Valencia signs BCL star Jonah Radebaugh

Valencia Basket has officially signed Basketball Champions League star Jonah Radebaugh. The former German BBL star signed a two-year contract with the ACB team, as the club announced Monday.

The Northern Colorado alumni competed the last two seasons with German team MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, where he averaged 14.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 17.2 efficiency per game in the easy credit BBL last season.

Prior to joining Valencia, Radebaugh inked a contract with ACB and BCL powerhouse Tenerife, but he did not registered a game in but never played a game for the team based in the Canary Islands.

Debuting in the Basketball Champions League, he averaged 13.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks per contest and was part of the Star Lineup First Team. Ludwigsburg made it to the Final Four and finished third in Bilbao.

Ludwigsburg had also a great run in the German BBL with Radebaugh leading the way averaging 13.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks per contest. The German team was the 4th seed in the easyCredit BBL regular season rankings.

It went on to sweep ratiopharm Ulm in the first round and eventually lost (3-0) to ALBA Berlin in the semi-finals of the playoffs. Valencia added its third signing of the offseason after Chris Jones and James Webb III.
