Valencia is expected to hire Pedro Martinez as the new head coach, while they are in advanced talks with Marius Grigonis.
The Spaniards are a grand favorite to play in the EuroLeague next season, via a wild card, and aim to build a competitive team.
According to apuntmedia.es, the club will sign a contract with Martinez to replace Joan Penarroya, who will join Baskonia on a two-year deal.
Martinez led Valencia to the ACB title in 2017. The 2022 Basketball Champions League Coach of the Year spent the previous three seasons with Manresa, leading the team to the BCL Final Four last month.
In addition, Valencia is in advanced talks with Marius Grigonis, per A Punt Sports. The Spaniards want to make the Lithuanian guard the leader of the squad next season.
Grigonis spent the previous season with CSKA Moscow, but left the team after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. Grigonis is under contract with CSKA until 2024.
