The Ukrainian Federation is looking to move qualifier against Spain in the summer window to hopefully retain home court advantage.
According to Oleksandr Proshuta, the Basketball Federation of the country wants to retain the contest against the reigning World Cup champions in Ukraine.

In light of the escalating threats of a potential invasion by Russia into Ukrainian territory, FIBA has prohibited the Federation from hosting the game in Kyiv. The game was to take place on February 27 for the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.
The Ukrainian NT is scheduled to fly to Spain on February 20 for their first game of the February window vs the Spanish national team, scheduled on February 24. Some players will join the team in Spain.

Ukraine has one win and one defeat in Group G, competing against North Macedonia, Spain and Georgia. Spain is at the top of the group with a 2-0 record going to the second window.
