The time has come! The EuroLeague Final Four in Belgrade is almost ready to begin! The top four teams of the 2021/22 season are ready to fulfill their dream, to win the Euroleague title!

It’s expected to be a tough but fun Final Four. Besides, how can’t it be, as we ‘re going to watch a Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona and a neighboring derby between Olympiacos and Anadolu Efes.

Two real derbies without a favorite, open to any possible result. Let’s see some betting suggestions together.

The first game of the semis is Olympiacos vs Anadolu Efes. One of the best teams of the last decade against the defending champions.

The series between them were split in the EuroLeague regular season (1-1). Efes easily defeated Olympiacos in Istanbul and the Piraeus side prevailed over Anadolu with a Kostas Sloukas’ three-pointer at the overtime buzzer at Peace and Friendship Stadium.

Efes is in the Final Four for the third time in a row, wanting to repeat. Olympiacos will be there after five years, desiring to win the title after claiming back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.

The champions were not in a good condition throughout the season, but they “woke up” when things were on the line.

Two of their players were awarded: Shane Larkin as an All-EuroLeague First Team member and Vasilije Micic as the top scorer of the tournament.

They seem to be in a “beast mode”. Probably, the duo is the biggest threat for Olympiacos, as they are for every defense in Europe.

But, on the other hand, Olympiacos can find solutions in any problem. They are extremely experienced and they are in Belgrade for winning their 4th title. Who can underestimate them?

The team that rarely loses a semifinal? The team that achieved the impossible during the last decade? With players like Kostas Sloukas, Giorgos Printezis, Kostas Papanikolaou and Sasha Vezenkov in their roster?

And the best coach of this season, Giorgos Bartzokas. Let me remind you that Vezenkov is a member of the All-Euroleague First Team, like Larkin, and Sloukas of the Second Team. The Greek guard also won the Best Moment Award – against Efes.

So, we can’t find a safe bet here, as any result is possible. My personal opinion is that it will be a tough game. I would give a +3.5 handicap to Olympiacos, in an 1.75 odd.

Fun bet: A combination of over 11.5 points Sloukas, over 5.5 rebounds Vezenkov, over 1.5 3p. Dorsey.

A very important factor, is that the Olympiacos’ fans will be the vast majority at “Stark Arena”. Nearly 10K Greek fans are expected to be in attendance in the semifinal. Knowing the atmosphere that they can create, Olympiacos will have a great boost.

So, my second fun bet will be Olympiacos to qualify for the Championship Game and win the trophy (4.50).
