Tenerife used a strong, second-half performance and rallied past Manresa in the Final of the 2022 Basketball Champions League (87-98).
Manresa had the lead at halftime (50-49), but Tenerife turned things around the rest of the game. Outscoring their opponents 37-49 in the second half, Tenerife never looked back and won their second Basketball Champions League title.
Five players scored in double digits for the winners, with Sasu Salin leading the way with 18 points. On the other hand, Chima Moneke led five Manresa players in double figures, with a game-high 24 points.
Tenerife also became the first team to compete in a BCL Championship Game for the third time.
