Semi Ojeleye made known he will continue his career in Europe and Virtus Bologna. Ojeleye, 27, split the 2021-22 season between the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks after spending the previous four seasons with the Boston Celtics.
The move was confirmed by Ojeleye via his Twitter account. Ojeleye has a reputation as an excellent wing defender averaging 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in 14 minutes of play (30 games).

Ojeleye holds NBA career averages of 3.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.4 assists over 284 matches. The forward with Nigerian descent was the no. 37 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics.
Bologna will be his first experience away from the NBA. During his collegiate career, he played for Duke and SMU before declaring for the draft. Aside from the regular season, Ojeleye has 38 playoff appearances under his belt- all with Boston.
Bologna will make its return to the EuroLeague after 14 years of absence and the Italian side has made a strong impression during the offseason with the signings of Jordan Mikey, Ismael Bako and Iffe Lundberg.
