Vasilije Micic and Anadolu Efes travel to Belgrade to compete in the Final Four, aiming to successfully defend their EuroLeague title.
The Serbian guard and reigning MVP of the competition had a key role in the team advancing to its third straight Final Four.
Averaging 18.2 points, Micic captured the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy for the 2021/22 EuroLeague season. A versatile player and capable of making the difference on both ends, the 26-year-old guard wants to show once again he has become an elite guard.
Since joining Efes back in 2018, he has reached his full potential and has emerged as one of the best players in the competition.
Micic has averaged 15.5 points, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals since 2018. He is the only EuroLeague player to accumulate more than 2,000 points, 600 assists and 150 steals over that time.
The reigning champions have dominated the EuroLeague since 2019 and they will now play in their third straight Final Four.
They aim to join a select company of back-to-back champions, as they take on Olympiacos in the semi-final. And with Vasilije Micic as their leader, the Turks enter their clash with the “Reds” as the favorite.
