Real Madrid played very well on both ends and rallied past Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Game 1 of the EuroLeague playoffs (84-74).
The “Whites” led from start to finish and endured the comeback of the Israelis late in the game to seal the deal. Maccabi cut the deficit to five (74-69), but the hosts went on a 10-2 run to clinch the victory.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Fabien Causeur leading the way with 20 points. Scottie Wilbekin led four Maccabi players in double figures, with 20 points.
Real Madrid now leads the series 1-0. Game 2 of the best-of-five series will take place on Friday night.
