Poland announce 16-man roster ahead of EuroBasket 2022

The Polish Basketball Association announced the 16-man roster ahead of the EuroBasket 2022. Most players based in Poland’s PLK but the 9th overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft Jeremy Sochan jumps out of the list.

The team will compete in Group D of the preliminary round in Prague against the Czech Republic, Finland, Israel, the Netherlands, and Serbia from 2 to 8 September. Poland failed to seal a ticket to the second and final round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

As a result, Igor Milicic’s team will not be part of the upcoming international window in late August.
