Panathinaikos aim to bolster their frontline with a backup center and are close to signing big man Arturas Gudaitis.
According to Gazzetta.gr, the two sides are finalizing their deal, which will be made official in the coming days.
The Lithuanian big man spent the past two seasons with Zenit Saint Petersburg, but left the team because of the Russia – Ukraine war. He then played for Napoli until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Gudaitis is expected to become the seventh signing of Panathinaikos this offseason, after Paris Lee, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Marius Grigonis, Nate Wolters, Andrew Andrews and Derrick Williams.
